ADAC GT Masters eSports Championship·1.6.2021

Starting at 19.15 CEST today: Round #1 of the ADAC GT Masters eSports Championship

The new season of the 2021 ADAC GT Masters Esports Championship gets underway in virtual Oschersleben at 19.15 CEST this evening. 32 sim racers will go head to head with an improved race format. The inaugural season of the new eSports GT4 Championship will also get underway.

The new season of the 2021 ADAC GT Masters eSport Championship powered by EnBW mobility+ gets underway today. The 28 fixed drivers and the four sim racers who qualified for the season opener beforehand will kick off the event with a 10-minute qualifying session. Then, after a 20-minute sprint race, the competitors will start the 40-minute main race. Last season there was a three-way battle for the title, between the drivers Moritz Löhner (Dörr Esports), Néstor Garcia (Red Bull Racing Esports) and Jack Keithley (Williams Esports). Oschersleben will show whether these three will be the front-runners once again, or whether new favourites will emerge.

The 32 sim racers are doing battle for a total prize fund of 100,000 euros in cash and non-cash prizes. And, if one driver wins every single race of the season, they will be rewarded with a special prize of a McLaren GT worth around €234,000. Meaning that virtual racing fans have a live programme packed full of racing action to look forward to.

The event will be streamed live from 19.15 CEST below this post, on adac.de/motorsport, on the ADAC YouTube channel and on the ADAC Facebook page.
