The ADAC GT Masters eSports Championship powered by EnBW mobility+ enters its second round of the season on Tuesday evening, 1st March 2022. 32 of the fastest sim racers in Europe will go head to head in races three and four at the virtual Watkins Glen circuit. Esports fans can once again look forward to thrilling motorsport action and fantastic on-track battles: anyone who still needs convincing that the field is again evenly-matched in the 2022 season need look no further than the two races at Brands Hatch. The races will be presented by Tobias Schimon, ably assisted in the studio by ADAC GT Masters race winner Marvin Dienst.

After two wins at Brands Hatch, Christopher Högfeldt (Virtualdrivers by TX3) arrives at Watkins Glen as the championship leader. Behind him, level on points in positions two to four, are Bence Bánki (Dörr Esports – Ascher Racing), Erhan Jajovski and Nikodem Wisniewski (both Williams X R8G), all of whom are hungry to take his spot at the top of the table.

As at Brands Hatch, the competitors will first complete a ten-minute qualifying session before they line up for the 15-minute sprint race. After that race, the drivers will contest another qualifying session to determine the grid positions for the 30-minute main race. As well as the 28 permanent competitors, four guest drivers will start at each event, having previously qualified via the “Community Monday Race” on RaceRoom prior to each event.

Round two of the ADAC GT Masters eSports Championship powered by EnBW mobility+ will be streamed live from 19:15 on Tuesday evening at youtube.de/adac, on the ADAC GT Masters Facebook page, and at adac.de/motorsport.
