What was your personal highlight of 2015?
There have been many of them, but generally speaking, I would obviously include my very first race at Oschersleben, then the track at Spa-Francorchamps and the qualifying in the rain. I'd never driven there before and secured a good position straightaway. The Nürburgring was another highlight. Unlike many of my fellow competitors, I'd not done any testing on this circuit but immediately felt at ease. I proved it too by posting my best result of the season.
What goals did you set yourself before the start of the season, and would you say in retrospect that you attained them?
I didn't achieve my goal, unfortunately. I aimed to finish in the points, but still, I made progress with every race, which is very positive. It is, of course, very tough, because the ADAC Formula 4 field is so tightly bunched.
What did you learn as far as driving goes from taking part in the ADAC Formula 4, and where will we be seeing you in 2016?
I've learned a great deal this season, have improved and developed steadily. In my opinion, I've made the most progress where tackling new circuits is concerned, as I only need about ten laps before I'm able to post decent times. Experience in racing teaches you a lot, for example, not to look in the mirror too often and not to be too aggressive when overtaking nor too careful. We'll have to wait and see what happens next year. I aim to harvest in 2016 what I sowed this season.
