Benjamin Mazatis (17, DEU , ADAC Berlin-Brandenburg e.V.), P19: "I'm not unhappy with P19, considering that I started from the back. But I feel that I could have finished two places further forward. At first, I was making good progress - I had already overtaken two other cars on the first lap. At the restart after the safety car period, a car in front of me didn't get moving properly. I lost my momentum and had to let two cars go past. Nevertheless, I am satisfied, because the speed was good. Now I'm intending get optimally prepared for next season."
Michelle Halder (16, DEU, Engstler Motorsport) P20: "We have taken a step forward this weekend. I managed to compete well in the midfield. We weren't able to do any testing beforehand, but I wasn't really satisfied with 15th place in my qualifying group. In the first race, I was unlucky. My front spoiler got damaged in a collision, and I had to retire. I finished the second race in P22, even though I was faster than the drivers in front. Unfortunately, I was unable to overtake because of the safety car deployments and the interruption to the race. In the last race, I got in amongst the Top 20. In the end, I finished 20th, so I'm quite happy."
Kevin Kratz (18, DEU, Lechner Racing), P25: "This was a setback for us and the team. From a speed perspective, we were unable to compete from the outset. We didn't know what the reason was, because we had had the feeling during the test days that the track suited us quite well. In Race 3, I didn't feel at all comfortable, because the track was not completely dry. What we lack is the experience to really push hard."
Marvin Dienst (18, DEU, HTP F4 Junior Team UNGAR), DNF: "I actually got off to a good start and was already up to sixth or seventh place. On Lap 2, I lost the rear of my car on the first corner and went over the artificial turf. The car spun round and stopped with me facing in the wrong direction. Several cars came past on the left and the right, but unfortunately one of them hit me. Luckily, everyone was OK."
Giorgio Maggi (17, DEU, Race Performance), DNF: "The start was a bit tricky. I didn't get off the line very well due to wheel spin. Despite that, I still managed to gain a couple of places. The restart also went well, and I moved up the field by another two positions. But then I ran out of track. I strayed onto the grass and lost the rear end of my car. I tried to regain control but to no avail. So unfortunately, that was the end of my race."
Cedric Piro (17, DEU, Piro Sports), DNF: "I was supposed to start the first race from P16, but then I got moved up to 13th because others were given grid penalties. My start was really good. I gained three places and was into the Top Ten. Unfortunately, I had on a collision at the hairpin and had to retire with a bent wishbone."
Job van Uitert (16, Provily Racing), DNF: "The first lap was very hectic at the Parabolica. I had to brake four times to avoid collisions. After the first corner, though, things calmed down a bit. Suddenly, I saw Marvin Dienst. I tried to avoid him, but I lost control of my rear axle. I was unable to avoid the collision, but fortunately we're all OK."
Tim Zimmermann (19, DEU, Neuhauser Racing), DNF: "That was a good weekend, and our race pace was right. I was intent on finishing second in the final race, so I tried to get past Michael Waldherr in the Motodrom. But in the attempt, I skidded off track, and my race was over. I could really have used those points, as they would have taken me up to fifth place in the championship. Unfortunately, that didn't work out. But I wanted to give it a try anyway."
