Ralf Aron (17, EST, Prema Powerteam), Winner: "I'm very pleased with my maiden win in the ADAC Formula 4. I want to thank my team for their hard work - this success was also very important to them. The car was still not quite perfect, but the rain suited us. I struggled a bit in the beginning, but eventually I was able to come out on top in the scraps and take the lead. From then on, I tried to consistently increase my lead and secure victory at the finish line. Driving in these conditions was difficult, but visibility was good at all times, and I enjoyed the scraps immensely."
Lando Norris (15, GBR, kfzteile24 Mücke Motorsport), Second: "My second race weekend in the ADAC Formula 4 and fourth podium finish - I'm very happy. Even more might have been possible. I made a small mistake and so lost a bit of ground. I constantly fought my way up the field and the scraps with other drivers were immense fun. At times, there were six cars battling for the lead, and it was difficult to keep track of what was happening. I tried to overtake Ralf in the lead towards the end, but unfortunately, it was no longer possible."
Marvin Dienst (18, GER, HTP Juniorteam), Third: "I knew it would be a tough race, for sure, starting from tenth place on the grid! I've now just narrowly missed securing a hat-trick of wins, but there's time left over the next couple of race weekends. It was nip and tuck all the way in the scraps, but I was able to win through in the end and secure third place. Now I've extended my championship lead by a few more points. Obviously, that's my goal for the rest of the season."
Robert Shwartzman (15, RUS, kfzteile24 Mücke Motorsport), P5: "I'm a bit disappointed that I didn't do enough for a podium today, because there certainly was a chance. I made a small mistake, just like in the first race. I've only got myself to blame. I took another risk on the final lap. I knew that my manoeuvre would either result in me moving up a place or would drop me way down the field. I tried everything possible and took fourth place in the end."
David Beckmann (15, GER, kfzteile24 Mücke Motorsport), P8: "Starting behind the safety car was a bit disappointing, since it meant I was unable to move up the field at the start. I tried to warm the tyres up properly to begin with, but that didn't work out quite right. I had the tyres in exactly the right window when the safety car came out on track for the second time. They didn't begin to function really well until the end of the race when I moved up three positions. The problems were partly due to the car and also to my driving style to some extent - I'll certainly make sure that things go better in the races to come."
Tim Zimmermann (18, GER, Neuhauser Racing), P9: "I got two really good re-starts and felt quite positive briefly. I was able to draw away from my pursuers and pull out a small lead. I would have had a decent chance of victory, if the car had been as good over the whole race as it had been at the start. Unfortunately, the turning point suddenly came, and I was overtaken on all sides. P9 is obviously not a satisfactory result after starting from pole position."
Jason Kremer (20, GER, Team Timo Scheider), P11: "The third race was actually quite good. I got away to a good start from 19th position on the grid and had already moved up into P10 when I spun, unfortunately. I was involved in a number of battles after that and had to take evasive action several times in order to avoid collisions. But by now, the car was really fast. Unfortunately, this increase in performance came a little too late. Still, I'm certain that we'll succeed in the race weekends to come."
Benjamin Mazatis (17, GER, kfzteile24 Mücke Motorsport), P 17: "We took a bit of a gamble before the third race and went for a set-up for dry conditions at the rear. We had actually intended to start on slicks, and it was only in the grid that we subsequently changed them. I had some concerns at first, but everything worked very well. Obviously, there was some confusion in view of the conditions, but I'm satisfied with the race."
Michelle Halder (16, GER, Michelle Halder), P30: "The weekend didn't get off to a brilliant start as a result of some technical problems but ended OK. I was not allowed to compete initially, so I was happy when things turned in my favour. I had intended to achieve a lot, especially in the third race, because wet conditions are absolutely one of my strengths. I had fought my way up to P28 and then probably wanted to do a bit too much. A small mistake dropped me back down the field a little."
