ADAC Formel 4·4.11.2015

Kim Luis Schramm's season: Has learned a great deal in the ADAC Formula 4 about how to behave in a scrap

What was your personal highlight of 2015?

My personal highlight of the season was undoubtedly the podium in my home race at the Sachsenring. I crossed the finish line in third place in Sunday's race after qualifying second. The feeling was incredible. What was a bit frustrating, though, was losing P3 at Spa-Francorchamps due to the race being stopped.

What goals did you set yourself before the start of the season, and would you say in retrospect that you attained them?

My goal was fifth place in the overall standings, which I didn't achieve, unfortunately. However, delivering a consistently good performance is never easy in such a strong field of drivers, but we were unlucky quite often as well. It was a bit up and down, one good weekend, then a tough one.

What did you learn as far as driving goes from taking part in the ADAC Formula 4, and where will we be seeing you in 2016?

I've learned quite a bit about how to behave in a scrap, and also, about how to fight back, when things go wrong. I improved my performance in qualifying as well, getting consistently closer to the theoretical best time. Where I'll be driving next year still depends on several factors, but I wouldn't say no to GT racing.
