What was your personal highlight of 2015?
My highlight of the season was the rain-affected race at the Sachsenring. The track is really beautiful to drive on, and we had our best result of the year there. I'm generally quite fast in the races themselves and especially in wet conditions, but I need to improve in qualifying and in free practice.
What goals did you set yourself before the start of the season, and would you say in retrospect that you attained them?
After the test, things were actually looking quite promising, and I set myself a relatively high target going into the season. Unfortunately, I seem to have overestimated myself somewhat. But all in all, I'm happy with my first season in formula racing. It's a pity that we couldn't make more of it, because I had plenty of good opportunities to finish in the points. But nobody ever said that things would click into place immediately.
What did you learn as far as driving goes from taking part in the ADAC Formula 4, and where will we be seeing you in 2016?
I have developed all aspects of my driving skills, from overtaking to maintaining race pace. We've also improved as regards getting the setup right on old tyres, What's more, I'm now much stronger mentally. After all, the past season wasn't easy for me. Next year, I'll probably have another crack at the ADAC Formula 4 title.
