Jason, why does a home race mean so much to a driver?
Jason Kremer: The Nürburgring is always the highlight of the racing year for me. I've managed to win here in both the open-wheel and touring car formats. I get to sleep in my own bed and therefore feel especially fresh at the Nürburgring. In addition, my family and friends are cheering me on from the grandstands. That makes it even better. A success on this legendary track is very special.
What target have you set yourself for the three races at the Nürburgring?
Jason Kremer: After the races at the Lausitzring, I know that we are 100-percent competitive. As a completely new team, it takes a while to find your feet in a strong race series. At the Nürburgring, everything should now fall into place. Consequently, I'm hoping for a podium and maybe even an outright win. That won't be easy. But I'm convinced that we we're going to make it together sooner or later.
You are the most experienced driver in the history of what used to be Formel ADAC. To what extent has this benefited you in ADAC Formula 4?
Jason Kremer: I learned a lot in my three years in Formel ADAC. It was important not only to drive fast but also to know about the technical side of the car. I've tried to carry over both aspects into the Formula 4 car. This has helped us to make good progress. In the course of the season, we have developed very well as a team. This gives me great confidence for the challenges ahead.
