Jonathan, you are one of the rookies in ADAC Formula 4. Was it hard to make the switch from karting to a single-seater car?
It was completely different to begin with, but you get more used to a Formula 4 racing car with every kilometre. The car is great to drive and gives you the basics of motor racing. Also, I have great support from my family. My father is always at my side. My brother, Johnny Junior, is also a racing driver and helps me as well, of course.
Your team Motopark will be contesting a home race at Oschersleben. How have you found working together so far?
I couldn't have wished for a better team than Motopark. They have a lot of experience in motor sport, especially where dealing with young drivers is concerned. We can benefit from their experience here in Oschersleben; after all, the team knows the track really well. The circuit is a real challenge. As a driver, you need your full concentration for every turn.
What goals have you set yourself for the 2015 season in the ADAC Formula 4?
It's important to learn as much as possible to start with and as quickly as possible. I've not had much experience of racing cars, while other drivers in the ADAC Formula 4 already have several seasons of open wheel racing behind them. I'll certainly do my best. At the end of the day, I'm here to win races, you know.
