For qualifying, which takes place later this afternoon (Friday), the contestants are split into two groups. The two 20-minute heats start at 13:50 and at 14:15 respectively. The starting grid for Race 1 is determined by the fastest lap times in qualifying and positions for Race 2 by the second-fastest times. Instead of the customary wild card race, there will be an extra free practice session on Saturday commencing at 10:05.
Three races will take place during the Oschersleben event. The first will be held on Saturday at 17:20. Sunday's two races take place at 09:40 and 17:15 respectively. SPORT1 will be showing all three races live.
