Grid positions for the first two races of the second ADAC Formula 4 season have all now been allocated. Luca Engstler (16, Wiggensbach, Liqui Moly Team Engstler) came out on top ahead of Jonathan Aberdein (18, South Africa, Motopark) and Mauro Auricchio (17, Brazil, Team Timo Scheider GmbH) in this qualifying round to decide positions 23 to 35 in Race 1.
Marylin Niederhauser (20, Switzerland, Rennsport Rössler) and Oliver Söderström (17, Sweden, ADAC Berlin-Brandenburg eV) retired from the 20-minute qualifying race on Saturday morning in P14 and P15 respectively, so neither driver has qualified directly for the three ADAC Formula 4 races at Oschersleben. 35 drivers will line up for the first race in the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben at 2:40 pm (live on SPORT1).
Start positions one to 22 for the first two of three races were decided in qualifying yesterday on Friday afternoon. Joey Mawson (20, Australia, Van Amersfoort Racing), who proved unbeatable in qualifying on Friday, will be on pole in the first two fixtures. The second race will take place on Sunday at 10.10 am (live on SPORT1+), while the third round starts at 4.40 pm in the afternoon. SPORT1+ will feature a recording of the final fixture at 8:00 pm.
