Following in the footsteps of Max Verstappen. Team Motopark have signed Dutch teenager Richard Verschoor (15) from Benschop, near Utrecht, as their fourth driver for the current ADAC Formula 4 season. Verschoor is a member of the junior team supported by Red Bull and will now line up in certain fixtures organised by the ADAC formula racing series for juniors. According to the current schedule, Verschoor will race at Motopark's home meeting at Oschersleben (17th-19th June), at the Red Bull Ring in Austria (22nd-24th July) and at the Hockenheimring season finale (30th September-2nd October). Apart from lining up in the ADAC Formula 4, Verschoor will also contest the NEZ Formula 4 championship.
Sebastian Vettel, patron of the ADAC Formula 4, is one of the drivers, who have successfully made the move up into F1 from the Red Bull junior team. Australian Daniel Ricciardo and fellow Dutch teenager Max Verstappen also currently drive in the premier class. Richard Verschoor dreams of racing alongside them in Formula 1 and has come one step closer to achieving his major goal by joining the ADAC Formula 4.
