Champion finishes up front: Lirim Zendeli (18, Germany, US Racing CHRS) set fastest time in the first ADAC Formula 4 practice session at the season finale in Hockenheim. Conditions were good with temperatures of around 20 degrees Celsius as Zendeli went fastest with a time of 1:40.805 minutes. He was followed home by rookie David Schumacher (16, Germany, US Racing CHRS), son of former DTM and Formula 1 driver Ralf Schumacher in second place and Liam Lawson (16, New Zealand, Van Amersfoort Racing) in P3.
Danish driver Frederik Vesti (16, Van Amersfoort Racing) was fourth. Rookie Joey Alders (19, Netherlands, Van Amersfoort Racing), Charles Weerts (17, Belgium, Van Amersfoort Racing) and Oliver Caldwell (16, Great Britain, Prema Theodore Racing) were fifth, sixth and seventh respectively. Mick Wishofer (18, Austria, US Racing CHRS), Enzo Fittipaldi (17, USA/Brazil, Prema Theodore Racing) and Lucas Alecco Roy (21, Monaco, Van Amersfoort Racing) completed the Top Ten.
Racing continues for the drivers in the ADAC High-Speed Academy this afternoon with another practice session at 1.40 pm and qualifying at 6.25 pm.
