Enzo Fittipaldi (16, Brazil, Prema Theodore Racing) was in dominant form in Friday's qualifying sessions at the Red Bull Ring. The Brazilian, who is currently fourth in the drivers' championship, secured pole position for both races on Saturday, the first of which is scheduled for 11:05 CEST and the second for 16:35 CEST.

In qualifying, Fittipaldi, who is the grandson of two-time Formula 1 world champion Emerson Fittipaldi, clocked the fastest Formula 4 lap of the day at the Red Bull Ring with a time of 01:30.818 minutes. On a dry track, he came out ahead of Danish youngster Frederik Vesti (16, Denmark, Van Amersfoort Racing), who had been fastest in free practice.

Liam Lawson (16, New Zealand, Van Amersfoort Racing), two-time winner at the Lausitzring, and current championship leader Lirim Zendeli (18, Germany, USA Racing CHRS) booked places on the second row. Behind them are David Schumacher (16, Germany, USA Racing CHRS), son of ex-Formula 1 driver Ralf Schumacher, as best rookie, and Charles Weerts (17, Netherlands, Van Amersfoort Racing). Starting from Row 4 are Oliver Caldwell (15, Great Britain, Prema Theodore Racing), winner in the third race in Oschersleben, alongside local favourite Mick Wishofer (18, Austria, US Racing CHRS). Rookie Gianluca Petecof (15, Brazil, Prema Theodore Racing) and Andreas Estner (17, Germany, Neuhauser Racing) line up in P9 and P10 respectively.

In the second qualifying session, Fittipaldi once again posted the fastest lap, although it was a good five tenths slower than in Q1 due to the onset of rain. Just under two tenths adrift, Schumacher secured a starting position on the front row for the second race on Saturday. Zendeli and Wishofer follow on Row 2, with Petecof and Tom Beckhäuser (19, Czech Republic, US Racing CHRS) on Row 3. Weerts and Estner booked seventh and eighth, with Vesti and Caldwell starting from ninth and tenth.

The fourth race weekend of the fourth season of ADAC Formula 4 concludes on Sunday with Race 3 (09:50 CEST). The grid for the third race is determined by the result of the second, with the Top Eight starting in reverse order. TV channel SPORT1 is showing the races from the ADAC High-Speed Academy.
