Gregoire Saucy fastest on first day of testing: Young ADAC Formula 4 motor racing talents post their first official test kilometres at Oschersleben

Start of season for new cohort of ADAC Formula 4 drivers. The motor racing juniors posted their first official test kilometres at Oschersleben with just under two and a half weeks to go before the start of the ADAC High-Speed Academy's fifth season. The junior drivers used the three sessions lasting 2:35 hours in total to get to know the Oschersleben track and gain valuable insights for the season opener to be held there on the weekend of 26th - 28th April.

Gregoire Saucy (19, Switzerland, R-ace GP) had the best showing and helped his outfit, R-ace GP, who are contesting the ADAC Formula 4 for the first time this year, get things off to a flying start. He was the fastest in all three test sessions and set the best time overall of the first of the two test days with a 1:23.942 minutes. There will be three more sessions on Wednesday lasting four hours in total.

"The first couple of sessions were good. I felt great," said Saucy, who was also the only driver to crack 1:24. However, the competition were not too far behind. Gianluca Petecof (, 16, Brazil, Prema Powerteam) was only marginally slower with a time of 1:24.003 minutes.
