Roller-coaster for Dennis: 16-year-old Dennis Hauger was on a real roller-coaster this weekend. First, the Norwegian had a perfect qualifying, securing pole position for both races and then went on to take two supreme victories. "Everything was going perfectly," said Hauger. But things suddenly changed a little later. On his way to his second victory, he had disregarded a yellow flag, was handed a 30-second penalty retrospectively and classified 14th. In Race 3, Hauger went on a terrific charge to the front of the field from 14th place but then, the right front tyre let go, ending his dreams of another top finish.

Strong debut: The name William Alatalo is one that fans of the ADAC Formula 4 should note, because the Finn has been impressive right from his very first outing in the ADAC High-Speed Academy. Alatalo races for ADAC Berlin-Brandenburg eV and has already achieved a P2, a third place plus one P5. But 18-year-old Alatalo is far from satisfied. "It was a pretty good debut, I think," but then added: "I'm here to win - so there's still room for improvement."

Speedy rookies: 15-year-old Czech driver Roman Stanek of US Racing CHRS caused a sensation at Oschersleben. At the Red Bull Ring, it was Paul Aron's turn to leave the others trailing. The 15-year-old brother of former ADAC Formula 4 driver Ralf Aron won the sixth race of the season on Sunday afternoon and was overjoyed: "What a great feeling! I'm really happy." Ralf Aron was mega pleased too - he was also at the track in Spielberg to support his younger brother.

VIP back-up: Speaking of support - seven-time grand prix winner, 43-year-old Juan Pablo Montoya was also there for the race weekend at Spielberg. He provided support for ADAC Formula 4 driver Alessandro Famularo (15, Venezuela, Prema Powerteam), and presented the trophies at the ADAC GT Masters award ceremony on Saturday. On Sunday, he gave the drivers the signal to start their engines by holding up the famous "Drivers start your engines" sign of ADAC series partner, Camp David.

Sharing the lead: What have Théo Pourchaire (15, France, US Racing CHRS) and Niklas Krütten (16, Germany, Van Amersfoort Racing) got in common? They are both on 69 points in the overall standings of the ADAC Formula 4 and share the lead. "We've scored some decent points," said Krütten. Pourchaire, who celebrated his first win of the season, added: "I hope things continue this way. I give this weekend full marks."

Looking forward to a highlight: All the ADAC Formula 4 drivers were in agreement on this point: The highlight of the season is fast approaching! "I'm really looking forward to Hockenheim," said Krütten with delight, and the rest of the field are also looking forward to the third race weekend. From the 26th to the 28th of July, the ADAC Formula 4 will again be part of the support programme for the German Formula 1 race at Hockenheim.
