Changes to ADAC Formula 4 calendar: In a change to the schedule, the ADAC High-Speed Academy will hold its season finale at Hockenheim on the weekend of 16th-18th October and not at the Sachsenring (2nd-4th October) as previously planned. The ADAC Formula 4 will stage its races under the banner of the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series which will also be holding its final round that weekend. Racing will be on the slightly shorter motorcycle version of track and not on the grand prix circuit.
This year will be the first time that the ADAC Formula 4 has not contested its season finale alongside the ADAC GT Masters. A clash of dates with the final race weekend of the Italian Formula 4 at Mugello has led to this rescheduling. Many entrants in the ADAC Formula 4 also contest the Italian series, but this re-jigging of the calendar sorts out the problem.
The ADAC Formula 4 calendar is still made up of seven race weekends, and the season will kick off as planned on the weekend of 24th-26th April in Oschersleben. SPORT1 will broadcast all racing from the ADAC High-Speed Academy on TV.
