To whet the appetite for the next ADAC Masters Weekend (10th - 12th August) at the Red Bull Ring, the ADAC are organising a 'Showrun' at the Arena am Waldfeld business park in Gabelhofensiedlung, Fohnsdorf. The event commences at 3pm on Wednesday 8th August and will feature racing cars from the various series that make up the weekend programme: ADAC GT Masters, Formel ADAC, ATS Formula 3 Cup, ADAC Procar and the MINI Challenge.

The Super Sports Car League will be represented by the BMW ALPINA B6 GT3 of current championship leaders Dino Lunardi and Maxime Martin. Also on show will be the Aston Martin V12 Vantage GT3 of Ferdinand and Johannes Stuck, a McLaren MP4-12C GT3 and a Porsche 911 GT3 R. Local fans will be delighted to see Gottfried Grasser from Knittelfeld in his Lamborghini Gallardo LP600+.

The highlight of the day comes at 6.30pm when the supercars put in a number of demo laps on a specially marked-out circuit in the business park. Making a guest appearance will be a 700-horsepower Toyota Camry from the American NASCAR series. Admission to the Showrun in Fohnsdorf is free of charge.
