Mario Farnbacher (#6 Farnbacher ESET Racing Porsche 911 GT3 R): "It's nice to show once again what we can do and be out in front here. I just hope that it stays dry. If there's no rain, then times are sure to fall in qualifying, because the track is getting faster all the time."
Sebastian Asch (#5 kfzteile24 MS RACING Team Mercedes Benz SLS AMG GT3): "We're still considerably down on top speed in comparison to the Porsches. I hope we can finish a little further up the field in qualifying. We had a suspension fault in the second session which cost us a lot of time."
Frank Kechele (#18 Callaway Competition Corvette Z06.R GT): "It went quite welI in first practice. We then made one or two changes to set-up for the second session. But there was no chance to try it out, since the belt that drives all the engine's ancillary units let go. I hope that the engine hasn't suffered as a result."
Philipp Eng (#14 MRS GT-Racing McLaren MP4-12C GT3): "I secured fastest time in the first practice session last year. I hope we can keep the speed up. We didn't go onto fresh tyres in the second session, unlike most of the opposition, so we are well pleased."
Nico Verdonck (#38 Lambda Performance Ford GT): "It's not been too bad so far and yet not all that great; there are still some minor details to sort out. The track's long straights make it quite difficult for our car, but we've made some good progress."
Andreas Simonsen (#9 HEICO Junior Team Mercedes Benz SLS AMG GT3): "I'm pleased with second practice. We have a very consistent car and are in a good position for the race. We're going for a more compliant setup now to give maximum performance for the quali."
Albert von Thurn und Taxis (#3 InterNetX Lamborghini Gallardo LP600+): "We have a good car, balance is good and I would say the car is almost perfect. We're not running much of a wing setting and I feel really at ease in the car. There's not a lot more that we can do, but so far unfortunately, we've not been able to make any inroads on the front-runners."
Maxime Martin (#1 ALPINA BMW ALPINA B6 GT3): "We're very much out on our ears thanks to the success ballast after the race at the Nürburgring, but that was a worry right from the start."
Heinz Harald Frentzen (#27 Callaway Competition Corvette Z06.R GT3): "We're not quite as fast as the Porsches, but we're doing well with our Corvette. Once again, it's very close here at the top, so every detail is important in qualifying. There's a fine line to tread in the ADAC GT Masters due to the high power density, and everything must be absolutely perfect in qualifying, if you want to secure pole."
Sascha Bert (#37 Gemballa Racing McLaren MP4-12C GT3): "We've tried various things in practice and are quite satisfied. We still have understeer until we reach the mid-point of the turn, but that is apparently down to the tyres, but we'll probably just have to live with it until the end of the season. Apart from that, the car has run faultlessly so far."
Roland Asch (#50 Mühlner Motorsport Chevrolet Camaro GT): "The Camaro's torque is amazing! Even going through a turn in too high a gear is no big deal. The car is great fun. However, I need a little more confidence in the car, especially on the brakes, since my times so far have been a little too inconsistent."
