So, it's goodbye spaghetti and hello spaetzle at Farnbacher ESET Racing. The weekend of 13th to 15th July will see the team from northern Bavaria campaign a Porsche 911 GT3 R during the ADAC Truck Grand Prix weekend at the Nürburgring. Farnbacher ESET Racing opted for the change after analysing the first six races of the 2012 season and realising that they were not competitive in the Ferrari 458 Italia GT3. Mario Farnbacher and Niclas Kentenich will contest the remainder of the season in a Porsche 911 GT3 R.

The team led by Horst Farnbacher has many years experience with Porsche racing cars and, apart from the ADAC GT Masters, is also involved in Porsche Cups.

"We had no chance of success with the Ferrari's classification relying solely on our own resources, but we would still like to prove that we can be a major player in this top series," said team manager Dominik Farnbacher.
