Mayer/Seyffarth set fastest lap in Warm Up: Mercedes set the pace early on Sunday morning

The fastest of the early risers on Sunday morning were Maximilian Mayer and Jan Seyffarth (SMS Seyffarth Motorsport), who with a time of 1:39.444 in their Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 were ahead of the BMW ALPINA of the championship leaders Dino Lunardi/Maxime Martin (ALPINA) who set a time of 1:39.747.

The third fastest lap in the 15 minute Warm Up session belonged to Andreas Wirth/Heinz-Harald Frentzen (Callaway Competition - Corvette Z06.R GT3) ahead of Christian Engelhart/Nick Tandy (Team Geyer & Weinig/Schütz Motorsport - Porsche 911 GT3 R) and local driver Christiaan Frankenhout/Kenneth Heyer (HEICO Motorsport - Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3). Luca Ludwig was sixth fastest in the McLaren MP4-12C GT3 for Gemballa Racing.

The second ADAC GT Masters race in Zandvoort will start on Sunday at 12:30 without the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG of HEICO Gravity Charouz Racing. After Jan Stovicek's accident during the race on Saturday, the Czech and his team mate Erik Janis must sit out the second race.
