New aerodynamics for GT3 Ferrari: Ferrari update the 458 Italia GT3 in time for 2013

After two years in service, the 458 Italia GT3 is being upgraded for the 2013 season. On Wednesday, Ferrari Corse Clienti (the customer sports department of the manufacturer) met up with vehicle developer Michelotto at the Adria Raceway to perform the first tests on the modifications to the GT3 Ferrari.

In revamping the car, the Italians have been particularly drastic with the aerodynamics. The extent to which the front end has been modified is immediately apparent from the additional air vents in the wheel arches and the bonnet. The Michelotto engineers, who have been commissioned by Ferrari to develop the 458 Italia, have not left the rear end untouched either. The updates will be available to Ferrari customers in good time for the 2013 season.

In the ADAC GT Masters, the Ferrari 458 Italia GT3 has so far managed to claim one pole position and one win.
