Daniel Keilwitz (#28 Callaway Competition-Corvette Z06-R GT3), 3rd place:
"I am very happy with the race. We are here with last year's Corvette and did not expect to get onto the podium. There was a bit of chaos at the start of the race and in the meantime, we had a problem with the air pressures, but we were able to correct them in the pitstop. I am looking forward to Zandvoort, where we can compete with our new car."
Maximilian Götz (#5 kfzteile24 MS RACING Team-Mercedes Benz SLS AMG GT3), 2nd place:
"Initially, I had a bit of a problem with the traction control and lost some positions. Then I got things under control. After Tandy came into the pits, my strategy was to stay out a lap longer and make up the time. But I had a lot of traffic and the plan didn't work."
Sebastian Asch (#5 kfzteile24 MS RACING Team-Mercedes Benz SLS AMG GT3), 2nd place:
"I took over the car in second place with the aim of winning. In terms of speed, we were doing pretty well. But racing and overtaking are two different things. I put Engelhart under pressure, hoping he would make a mistake, but he didn't give me that pleasure. The team has done a great job and things are going well with Max as a team mate."
Jesse Krohn (#38 Lambda Performance-Ford GT), retired:
"We had a problem with a broken wheel nut and then a problem with the starter during our mandatory pit stop. After a good performance yesterday, it's a great shame."
Maxime Martin (#1 ALPINA BMW ALPINA B6 GT3), 4th place:
"Like yesterday, we had problems at the end of the race with the tyres, but today, they started much earlier. The additional ballast from yesterday's win had a great effect and the brakes were getting longer. For the next race at Zandvoort, we must find a solution with the tyres because we have been suffering too much degradation."
Hari Proczyk (#8 HEICO Motorsport-Mercedes Benz SLS AMG GT3), 6th place:
"My race was pretty quiet actually. In the first half of the race, Dominik Baumann laid a solid foundation. I was in the middle of a train of several HEICO Mercedes, and as usual with Oschersleben, it was very difficult to overtake. It's not worth the risk with team mates. But two sixth places are ok for this weekend."
Andreas Wirth (#27 Callaway Competition-Corvette Z06-R GT3), retired:
"We are quite fast, but we have to finish first. I hope that our problems are sorted before the next race in Zandvoort."
Toni Seiler (#18 Callaway Competition-Corvette Z06-R GT3), 21st place:
"Our new car has potential, but we had electrical problems in both races. When the car was running smoothly, we were fast."
Christoffer Nygaard (#33 Young Driver AMR-Aston Martin V12 Vantage GT3), 16th place:
"The weekend went better than expected as we moved forward quite well from starting 27th. However, we are lacking power on the straights, which must be sorted before the next race in vehicle classification. Whenever there are long straights, we notice it considerably."
Ferdinand Stuck (#32 Young Driver AMR-Aston Martin V12 Vantage GT3), 15th place:
"The first weekend in a new team and with a new car. We have learnt a lot, most of all about the true speed of our car which gives up hope for the next race in Zandvoort."
Achim Winter (#35 YACO Racing powered by Jochen Schweizer-Chevrolet Camaro GT), retired:
"Our Camaro is a spectacular car with relatively low test mileage. Our goal was to arrive and finish the race. We achieved this in the first race, but not in the second. The car can go well, but a lot of detailed work is still necessary."
