Frank Kechele (#14 Lambda Performance, Ford GT), pole position, Race 1: "It's great to be in pole position for the second time in a row at the end of the season. Now I just hope that we can repeat our good qualifying performance in the race. Grid positions one and three are excellent positions. We are aiming for a podium finish at the very least. Hockenheim is a home race for our team. We have invited many guests along and we intend to put on a good show for them."
Jeroen Bleekemolen (#18 Callaway Competition, Corvette GT3 Z06.R), pole position, Race Two: "I didn't really expect this pole position because our car was not really on song this morning. But the team did a good job, worked hard and provided me with a good car in the end for qualifying. Still, securing pole was a tough battle."
Daniel Keilwitz (#2 Callaway Competition, Corvette GT3 Z06.R), grid position 4, Race 1: "Qualifying went brilliantly well for us, fourth on the grid is a good position for the finale. We have a 30kg success ballast on board after our victory at the Slovakia Ring, so can be satisfied in view of that. Jeroen has shown here today what our car can achieve without success ballast."
Diego Alessi (#2 Callaway Competition, Corvette GT3 Z06.R), grid position ten, Race 1: "Unfortunately, a BMW impeded progress on my fastest lap, wrecking it completely, otherwise I would have been further up the grid. The key to success here will be to drive consistently well in both races and still have something in reserve for the second half of the race. The driver who has the best set-up will finish up in front."
Thomas Jäger (#11 Polarweiss Racing, Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3), grid position 14, Race 2: "I've never driven on a set of new Yokohama tyres before qualifying and therefore did not know how they were going to behave. Consequently, I couldn't get the maximum out of the tyres, because they peaked after one hot lap."
Dominik Baumann (#19 PIXUM Team Schubert, BMW Z4 GT3), grid position seven, Race Two: "I'm happy, we have the fastest BMW. Things could have been better, but they could also have been a whole lot worse. At any rate, compared to practice, the competition improved more than we did. Still, we missed P3 by only two tenths of a second. It's very close once again here."
