Frank Kechele and Dominik Schwager have also won the second of the two races staged at the Hockenheimring on this final weekend of the 2013 ADAC GT Masters. They were joined on the podium by the two Audi pairings of Rene Rast / Christopher Mies and Christer Jöns / Markus Winkelhock.
For Diego Alessi and Daniel Keilwitz, P6 was enough to secure their first championship title. After a spin at the start of the race, the Callaway Competition duo mounted a magnificent charge upfield in their Corvette. Their main rivals for the title, Maximilian Götz and Maximilian Buhk in a Polwarweiss Racing Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3, did not finish, thus ruling themselves out of contention.
Robert Renauer, sharing the cockpit of a Porsche with Martin Ragginger, finished fourth, which was sufficient for him to take the runner-up trophy for the season. With the result of the 16th and final race of the season now in, Alessi and Keilwitz have 179 points. Renauer on his own finished the season five points behind on 174. Götz and Buhk on 165 were ranked third.
