Alfred Renauer on TV in Verstehen Sie Spass: ADAC GT Masters Porsche driver on ARD Television in Germany's version of Candid Camera

Motor racing fans should not miss the TV show this coming Saturday at 8:15pm. Alfred Renauer plays an important role in ARD´s top comedy offering, Verstehen Sie Spaß. The popular ADAC GT Masters driver puts in several hot laps at the wheel of his Porsche 911 GT3 Cup for the show.

The scene is set at the Lausitzring in Brandenburg. Renauer and the hidden camera team aim to pull a fast one on actor Richy Müller at the demanding circuit. Müller is well-known for his laconic demeanour in his role as Tatort Commissioner. However, when Renauer, aided and abetted by Attempto Racing, sets a trap for him, not even the winner of the German Film Prize is safe and falls for it.

At what is supposed to be a sponsorship event at the Lausitzring, Müller, a keen amateur racing driver, has been asked to chauffeur VIP guests around the course in a race taxi, a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup. What the actor does not know: all those taking part are also actors, intent on making his life difficult. The 57-year-old gets the shock of his life when his racing car is suddenly stolen - a pretty blonde jumps in his Porsche 911, making off with it at top speed.

What Richy Müller thought of the 'theft' and racing buddy Alfred Renauer´s part in the trickery is revealed this coming Saturday when the TV ace Crime Commissioner talks live about the hoax on the show.

Alfred Renauer: "Filming was great fun. It´s the first time ever that I´ve been involved in something like this. I would never have believed just how much work is required. I´m really looking forward to Saturday evening´s live broadcast. ADAC GT Masters fans everywhere should tune in and have a laugh."
