Bleekemolen to drive Corvette at Nürburgring: Dutch sports car ace in guest appearance at the Eifel circuit

When Toni Seiler returns from the summer break in his native Switzerland for the fourth race weekend of the ADAC GT Masters season (Nürburgring, 2nd - 4th August), he will have a new co-driver for his yellow Corvette Z06.R GT3 (Callaway Competition). The longest-serving contestant in the series will be joined by ex-DTM driver Jeroen Bleekemolen from the Netherlands, who earlier this year won the ADAC Zurich 24-hour race.

For 31-year-old Bleekemolen, who has now made his home in Monaco, this will be the first time he has driven a Callaway Competition Corvette Z06.R GT3 in the ADAC GT Masters; he has previously contested the series on six occasions in either a Lamborghini or a Porsche and has one pole position to his credit (Nürburgring 2007). Last year, Bleekemolen put in a guest appearance in his home race at Zandvoort, sharing the third podium spot with Porsche co-driver Robert Renauer.

Toni Seiler will be hoping that Bleekemolen can help him secure his first win of the 2013 campaign in the Gentlemen stakes; in the last six ADAC GT Masters races, the two-time amateur champion has managed only two third-place podiums in the Gentlemen classification. Bleekemolen will be Seiler's third team-mate of the current season; the 55-year-old has previously partnered Niclas Kentenich and Gerhard Tweraser.
