Maximilian Götz (#10 Polarweiss Racing, Mercedes Benz SLS AMG GT3): "Spa is a real drivers´ track where a lot depends on experience. I´ve driven here quite a lot in the past few years and know my way around. You can see from the times posted in free practice that the drivers with most experience such as René Rast or Allan Simonsen are a long way out in front."
Maximilian Buhk (#10 Polarweiss Racing, Mercedes Benz SLS AMG GT3): "This is my first time at Spa. It´s an absolutely fantastic track, and as for Eau Rouge, well it´s simply incredible; when you cross the stream and start to climb the hill, all hell breaks loose."
René Rast (#27 Prosperia C. Abt Racing, Audi R8 LMS ultra): "So far, everything is going better than expected. We didn´t think we´d be quite so competitive. But anyway, let´s see how qualifying goes."
Martin Ragginger (#8 Tonino powered by Herberth Motorsport, Porsche 911 GT3 R): "We´ve been satisfied with what we´ve seen in practice so far. But as for the races tomorrow and the day after, I´m not all that sure how consistent we´ll be over the distance."
Dino Lunardi (#16 THE BOSS YACO Racing, Audi R8 LMS ultra): "The first practice session went well for us, and we were fourth fastest. Our main problem continues to be relative lack of experience, so we´re trying out lots of different things."
Andreas Wirth (#3 Callaway Competition, Corvette Z06.R GT3): "We´re not yet totally satisfied with the car. We feel like it´s driving us rather than the other way round."
Christian Hohenadel (#3 Callaway Competition, Corvette Z06.R GT3): "I need to re-familiarise myself with the track. It´s been two years since I was last here. In the two free practice sessions, we didn´t use any of our new tyres, which means that we have plenty of potential to improve on our times."
Florian Stoll (#1 MS RACING, Audi R8 LMS ultra): "I´ve only driven 12 laps here so far, and this is a circuit where experience counts for so much. We´re still analysing the data, but we already have a pretty good idea of how I can improve my lap times."
Jürg Aeberhard (#7 Farnbacher Racing, Porsche 911 GT3 R): "This is my first time at Spa. It´s a challenging circuit, so I´ve been fairly cautious so far."
Christopher Mies (#27 Prosperia C. Abt Racing, Audi R8 LMS ultra): "In free practice, we were concentrating on getting the race setup right. We think we´ve found one that should be very good."
