Maximilian Götz (#10 Polarweiss Racing, Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3): "So far, I'm a little surprised about the two fastest times, as I wouldn't necessarily have expected to do quite so well. I fear, though, that our opponents have not shown their hand yet, and we might be in for a big surprise, as in the Nürburgring qualifying."
Christian Engelhart (#4 Team Geyer & Weinig EDV Schütz Motorsport, Porsche 911 GT3 R): "We aren't happy with the car. We went out late in the second session because we wanted to try something different but it didn't go quite as planned. I don't think a Porsche can achieve pole position here, because there's only been one Porsche up front, so far."
Max Sandritter (#20 PIXUM Team Schubert, BMW Z4 GT3): "We aren't happy yet. As expected, we're finding it very tough here."
Diego Alessi (#2 Callaway Competition, Corvette Z06.R GT3): "Only pole will do here in the qualifying and nothing else. This is by far the best track on the entire calendar for the Corvette - pole is an absolute must. We must secure maximum points this weekend, because we don't know exactly how we'll do on the other tracks."
Philip Frommenwiler (#6 Farnbacher Racing, Porsche 911 GT3 R): "We're once again the fastest Porsche, but the Mercedes-Benz best time is really amazing. The Mercedes is half a second up and I think the most we can shave off that time in the qualifying is only 0.3 seconds."
Hans Reiter (SaReNi United Team Director, Chevrolet Camaro GT): "The Camaro's engine has already done quite a few miles, but we thought it could still do quite well here. However, it wasn't fast enough, so now we're busy changing the V8 lump. We may have to miss the first quali session, but we'll be there for the second one."
Gerhard Tweraser (#44 Grasser Racing, Lamborghini Gallardo FL2): "It's been going really well so far. But we're lining up for the first time, so are able to run fresh tyres. I think many of our opponents still have quite large reserves left, so the qualifying will be very exciting."
Toni Seiler (#18 Callaway Competition, Corvette Z06.R GT3): "We used tyres from the Nürburgring in practice and they were past their best. And so, I've been bedding in the new brakes."
Frank Kechele (#14 Lambda Performance, Ford GT): "We're still having quite a lot of problems with a twitchy rear end, as at the Nürburgring. Consequently, we haven't been quite as fast in the turns as we would like to be."
