Herberth Motorsport participated in a charity hockey match in Bavaria in order to raise money for cancer-stricken kids. During the 2012 season, the crew from Jedenhofen in Bavaria worked hard in the ADAC GT Masters, preparing Porsches for Team GT3 Kasko and FROGREEN CO2 neutral, but nevertheless, they found time to plan and execute a spectacular programme that delighted the many visitors to the show event in Trostberg's ice stadium, raising over 6,000 euros for charity.
Usually, their Porsche 911 GT3 R is most at home on the racetrack in the ADAC GT Masters, "But for a good cause, we also take it out onto the ice, now and then," said Herberth Motorsport Team Manager Alfred Renauer. Twin brother Robert was also on hand to show off the racing car to the many people present - the Porsche looked smashing, all pimped up for the occasion in dazzling snow-white. More than 800 people were in attendance.
Robert Renauer: "We took questions from spectators, let children try the car for size and sold merchandise for charity. Together with the hockey game, we put on a really super display, and what's more, we made plenty of money for the children's cancer charity."
In addition to preparing for the new season, family-owned Herberth Motorsport has further charity engagements in the pipeline. Renauer: "And once again, the focus will be on fundraising to support children's cancer charities."
