The #1 Audi R8 LMS ultra prepared by MS RACING and driven by Florian Stoll/Sebastian Asch was hit with a time penalty after the first race for infringement of Articles 31.10 and 40.2 of the sporting regulations of the ADAC GT Masters. Sebastian Asch drove too slowly in the pit lane, blocking the progress of the #6 Porsche 911 GT3 R fielded by Farnbacher Racing. The stewards handed the car bearing start number 1 a drive-through penalty, which was subsequently converted into a 30-second time penalty. Florian Stoll/Sebastian Asch, who finished eighth, were demoted to 15th after the results from Race 1 had been adjusted.
