ADAC GT Masters·27.1.2013

Who has the heaviest right foot?: Which ADAC GT Masters driver was best at qualifying in 2012?

Who was the quickest ADAC GT Masters driver of 2012? Champions Sebastian Asch and Maximilian Götz secured the most points by the end of the season, but who was the season´s top qualifier?

Austrian Martin Ragginger came out tops in last year´s ADAC GT Masters qualifying sessions. If you aggregate, then compare qualifying times for 2012, no one was faster than ‘Raggi´ - the 24-year-old put his Porsche 911 GT3 R on pole both at the Lausitzring and in Hockenheim.

Ragginger´s best qualifying times add up to 11.25.246 minutes - as a matter of interest, when you put together all the best times achieved by all of the drivers, Raggi et al, in all of the qualifying sessions you get a figure of 11.22.295mins. Reigning champion Maximilian Götz was the second-fastest qualifier of 2012, ahead of fledgling BMW works driver Maxime Martin.

The results in qualifying from each of the year´s events were evaluated with the exception of the two sessions at the Sachsenring, where Qualifying 1 did not take place, but only those drivers who posted a lap time in every quali during the season were placed.
