René Rast (#10 Prosperia C Abt Racing, Audi R8 LMS ultra): "Things went very well for us in practice, better than expected. I don´t think that we´ll be successful in the qualifying session, though, as some of our competitors will almost definitely still have some hidden reserves."
Nicki Thiim (#11 Prosperia C Abt Racing, Audi R8 LMS ultra): "The brakes caused a few worries in practice, but at least our sister car was very quick today."
Sebastian Asch (#6 Farnbacher Racing, Porsche 911 GT3 R): "We still have some work to do on setup, but we won´t have it easy here, generally speaking. Let´s see what qualifying brings!"
Daniel Keilwitz (#1 Callaway Competition, Corvette Z06.R GT3): "Hockenheim is our home track. I don´t think that any other team has done as much testing here as us. We know the track very well, know what to do and are also fast at this circuit. I think that a pole position is possible here. Unlike in the two previous events, we won´t be running with any success ballast in qualifying in Hockenheim. You really notice the difference when you´ve got success ballast on board."
David Jahn (#13 RWT Racing Team, Corvette Z06.R GT3): "I think that we can do good things if everything goes well in qualifying. I´m hoping for a grid position among the top five."
Dominik Baumann (#19 PIXUM Team Schubert, BMW Z4 GT3): "We were running new tyres in both practice sessions and had to take a lot of risks to post our times. I´m curious to see how the competition will do in qualifying. I would be satisfied with a place in the top five."
Maro Engel (#23 ROWE Racing, Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3): "So far, I´ve only utilised old tyres in free practice and wonder how the car will feel in qualifying on fresh rubber. At any rate, I was still very quick on used tyres."
