Daniel Keilwitz (#1 Callaway Competition, Corvette Z06.R GT3), Pole Position Race 1: "Our strategy worked really well, I improved my time a bit on each lap," said Keilwitz after his fourth pole position in the ADAC GT Masters. "Pole position is great, as we didn't think we could do it. The very warm temperatures also helped us. Our Corvette likes warm weather."
Dominik Baumann (#19 PIXUM Team Schubert, BMW Z4 GT3): "We sure felt good after practice, and then we found a terrific setup for the quali. But nevertheless, it was mentally challenging to really step on the gas in these conditions, because my windscreen was wet through but the tarmac was still dry."
Sébastien Ogier (#12 Prosperia C Abt Racing, Audi R8 LMS ultra), grid position 19, Race 2: "Qualifying was a real revelation to me, as I was only able to post a couple of laps in free practice. I'd obviously been hoping for a better start number, but it wasn't easy with just a few laps experience. Still, I've had a lot of fun in the Audi R8 and I'm getting to know the car better with every lap. We'll now just have to wait and see what tomorrow's race brings."
Robert Renauer (#8 TONINO Team Herberth, Porsche 911 GT3 R), grid position 7, Race 1: "We start from positions seven and four. We're satisfied with that in view of the fact that we had to almost completely miss second practice with an engine problem. If it rains on Saturday, then it looks like we have a good chance and anything can happen on Sunday from grid position four."
Patrick Assenheimer (#2 Callaway Competition, Corvette Z06.R GT3), grid position 16, Race 1: "I've never driven the Corvette here before, so the grid position is OK under the circumstances. In the race, a good start is important and a clean first lap. Our race pace is actually always quite good, so I honestly think that we've got the chance to secure a good result."
Uwe Geipel (Teamchef YACO Racing, Audi R8 LMS ultra): "Unfortunately, we had problems with the engine in qualifying, which we have not yet been able to trace. It's a shame, but we were unable to repeat our strong showing from first practice in the quali."
