Oliver Gavin (#1 Callaway Competition, Corvette Z06.R GT3), Pole position for Race 1: "I put in a really good clean lap. However, pole position is only one small step; the really hard work comes on Saturday and Sunday. It won't be easy to win here, but our Corvette has the speed. Daniel and I have a similar driving style, and I have a good feeling about these two races. Now we have to keep our fingers crossed and hope that we have a bit of luck."
Daniel Keilwitz (#1 Callaway Competition, Corvette Z06.R GT3), Pole position for Race 2: "I put in some very good laps at the start of qualifying and thought that I was a certainty for pole. I couldn't believe that Tomas Enge had bettered my time in the Camaro. So I went back out onto the track, drove at the absolute limit and got the maximum I could out of the car. In the end, it proved to be just enough. By booking the front slot twice, we have the best prospects this weekend. Now we have to convert that into race results, which certainly won't be easy."
Tomas Enge (#24 Reiter Engineering, Chevrolet Camaro GT), P2 for Race 2: "Too bad we missed out on pole position, but it's great to have two U.S. sports cars on the front row for Sunday. This will be a terrific race. We are excited about the tremendous progress we have made with the car. Last year, we couldn't even have dreamed of getting a starting place on the front row."
David Jahn (#13 RWT, Corvette Z06.R GT3): P10 for Race 1: "Our setup wasn't quite right in qualifying, so we hastily changed a setting before the quali, which was not a good idea. I'm confident about the race itself, though, because our race pace has always been very good, and we've seen today that the track suits our Corvette."
Alfred Renauer (#7 TONINO Team Herberth, Porsche 911 GT3 R), P 20 for Race 2: "We're finding it tough here, and only Robert was able to actually do anything. We're just as quick as last year, but the opposition are all faster this year for one reason or another."
Hari Proczyk (#32 Grasser Racing, Lamborghini Gallardo FL2), P2 for Race 1: "I'm not all that great at qualifying in point of fact and am not too familiar with the YOKOHAMA tyres either, so I'm more than pleased with the result. There's no comparison with last year's car, the tyres in particular suit the car much better than in the previous year."
Florian Spengler (#14 MRS GT-Racing, McLaren MP4-12C GT3), P25 for Race 2: "It's a tragedy. We were quite hopeful after first practice. Things were going really well then and we hoped that we'd managed to catch up, but we were suddenly six or seven tenths slower in the afternoon and we don't know why. The car has a very small effective working window."
Luca Stolz (#27 HTP Motorsport, Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3), P15 for Race 1: "We've made good progress this weekend, except that I was trying too hard in quali. I took too much out of the tyres, but when you do that, it mostly doesn't pay off. We generally have decent pace in the race itself, though, so that's what I'll be counting on tomorrow."
Alon Day (#21 BKK MOBIL OIL Zakspeed), P13 for Race 2: "We had all manner of technical problems today. The only thing that worked properly was the engine. We're now sorting these problems out and intend to go on the attack in tomorrow's race."
Norbert Siedler (#8 TONINO Team Herberth, Porsche 911 GT3 R), P11 for race 2: "Unfortunately, Jeroen Bleekemolen cut in front of me when I was on my fastest lap and ruined it for me. That cost me three tenths of a second, otherwise we would have been up to seventh or eighth, which in any case seems to be the maximum we can hope for here with our car."
