Audi one-two in Warm-Up: It's Van der Linde/Rast from Hamprecht/Thiim

After narrowly missing out on victory in Saturday's race, Prosperia C Abt Racing made their intentions to clinch the win in the second race of the season crystal clear by storming to a one-two lead in the warm-up on Sunday morning. Kelvin van der Linde and René Rast, who finished second on Saturday in the Audi R8 LMS ultra with a deficit of 0.3 seconds, posted best time and were just 0.025 seconds up on team-mates Fabian Hamprecht and Nicki Thiim. Van der Linde/Rast start from pole position in Sunday's second race, whilst Hamprecht/Thiim will line up behind Hayek/Kox (Blancpain Racing Lamborghini Gallardo FL2) in third place on the grid.

Christian Engelhart/Jaap van Lagen (GW IT Racing Team // Schütz Motorsport), Claudia Hürtgen/Dominik Baumann (PIXUM Team Schubert, BMW Z4 GT3) and Philipp Frommenwiler/Sebastian Asch (Farnbacher Racing, Porsche 911 GT3 R) followed the two Audis home in the warm-up.

The Callaway Corvette Z06.R GT3 with start number #1 driven by Oliver Gavin and Daniel Keilwitz also took part in the warm-up after a second night shift on the trot. A problem with the accelerator pedal on Saturday caused Gavin to run into the gravel bed and hit the tyre wall, but the Corvette was back in action this Sunday morning and posted the seventh-fastest lap.
