Race Sunday at the Red Bull Ring is not going at all well for the local boys from Grasser Racing. In the warm-up on Sunday morning, Sascha Halek skidded off track in the Lamborghini Gallardo FL2 prepared by the Knittelfeld team on the approach to the final turn, hitting the crash barriers to the inside of the track. The front of the Lamborghini was badly damaged, and Halek and team-mate Sandro Bickel will have to forego their second outing in the ADAC GT Masters in Sunday´s race. The warm-up was cancelled under the red flag after 10 minutes due to the accident and not continued.

Max Sandritter and Jens Klingman (PIXUM Team Schubert) in the BMW Z4 GT3 took best time from the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 of Luca Ludwig and Alon Day (BKK MOBIL OIL Zakspeed). Oliver Gavin and Daniel Keilwitz in a Corvette, who won on Saturday and are on pole for Sunday´s race (commencing at 11:45 am, live on kabel eins) finished third in front of the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 of Nico Bastian and Jaime Alguersuari (ROWE RACING).
