Nicki Thiim (#11 Prosperia C Abt Racing, Audi R8 LMS ultra): "We've got a completely new car after the accident at the start in Oschersleben, as we were only able to utilise the engine and gearbox from the old one. Fastest time in second practice is a good start, and things are going well so far. It's very tight at the top, though."

Nathan Morcom (#5 Farnbacher Racing, Porsche 911 GT3 R): "We had some problems in Oschersleben with the suspension set-up, but it's much better here. We're very fast on used tyres but still have to extract a bit more performance on the new ones."

Maximilian Götz (#26 HTP Motorsport, Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3): "Being fast over one lap in our car isn't easy here, because the Mercedes is a big, heavy car. However, we expect to have an excellent chance over the distance."

Toni Seiler (#18 Callaway Competition, Corvette Z06.R GT3): "I really like the track here in Zandvoort, but you always need some time to relearn the circuit. I'm getting along just fine through the tricky corners but I am still a little too much off the pace in the fast white-knuckle turns - particularly in the final long turn."

Jaap van Lagen (#3 GW IT Racing Team // Schütz Motorsport, Porsche 911 GT3 R): "Our Porsche is very quick here. We used fresh tyres in the first free practice session and did well on them, but then in the second session, we ran used ones exclusively. We were happy with them but couldn't quite keep up with the front-runners. It's going to be mighty interesting to see how our Porsche does here over the distance as far as tyres go. If it rains, though, then things will be quite different."

Christer Jöns (#12 Prosperia C Abt Racing, Audi R8 LMS ultra): "I'm very satisfied so far. However, it's my first outing this year in a sprint race, and I need to find some more time from somewhere on new tyres."

Dominik Baumann (#19 PIXUM Team Schubert, BMW Z4 GT3): "We've got a few small things to sort out before qualifying, but we'll get it done. So far though, we've been slow on the sectors where we should be very fast and a touch too slow where our BMW should really be on song, which is annoying us at the minute."
