Farnbacher/Morcom in front in warm-up: Porsche best time for Mario Farnbacher early this Sunday morning

Bright blue skies and temperatures hitting 22 degrees already put a spring in the step of ADAC GT Masters drivers taking part in Sunday morning's warm-up at the Lausitzring. Fastest time in the warm-up went to Mario Farnbacher and Nathan Morcom (Farnbacher Racing) in the Porsche 911 GT3 R. Farnbacher moved into P1 on the final lap, consigning the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 of Luca Ludwig and Alon Day (BKK MOBIL OIL Zakspeed) to second place. Farnbacher is in grid position 17 for the start of the second race on Sunday (live on kabel eins, commencing at 11:45 am). Day will start from 14th on the grid.

Oliver Gavin and Daniel Keilwitz (Callaway Competition) secured third place in their Corvette Z06.R GT3 and were followed home by the Porsche 911 GT3 R of Jaap van Lagen and Martin Ragginger (GW IT Racing Team Schütz Motorsport) and the BMW Z4 GT3 of Claudia Hürtgen and Dominik Baumann (PIXUM Team Schubert). Lagen and Ragginger currently head the standings. Hürtgen and Baumann will start the sixth race of the season from pole position.

Rally world champion Sébastien Ogier (Prosperia C Abt Racing) placed sixth in the warm-up at the wheel of the Audi R8 LMS ultra.
