Spectators at the etropolis Motorsport Arena Oschersleben witnessed a premiere this Friday morning as the ADAC GT Masters 2014 season got under way. A 30-minute Gentlemen practice session took place for the first time ever after first practice. Gentlemen practice will be staged at all of this year´s ADAC GT Masters events and is reserved exclusively for those drivers who have a "Bronze" rating and are fighting for points in the Gentlemen class.
Making his ADAC GT Masters debut, Austrian Herbert Handlos claimed fastest time in this first Gentlemen practice session for the Porsche 911 GT3 R (TONINO Team Herberth). Three Porsches finished on top. Dominic Jöst and Florian Scholze (TONINO Team Herberth) and Antonios Wossos and Wolf Nathan (GW IT Racing Team // Schütz Motorsport) came home behind Handlos.
Eight drivers will be fighting for points in the Gentlemen standings at this weekend's season opener in the etropolis Motorsport Arena Oschersleben. Once again this year, prize money totalling 75,000 euros can be won by drivers contesting the Gentlemen class.
