Lamborghini are back on top in the ADAC GT Masters. 2010 ADAC GT Masters champion Peter Kox and Marc A Hayek posted fastest time (1:27.931 min) for the Lamborghini Gallardo FL2 (Blancpain Racing) in second practice at the ADAC GT Masters opener in the etropolis Motorsport Arena Oschersleben. And so, Kox's best time put Lamborghini back at the top of the timesheets in an ADAC GT Masters practice session for the first time since 2011.
The Dutchman took over the lead with ten minutes to go until the end of the session from Audi pair Kelvin van der Linde/René Rast (Prosperia C Abt Racing), who finished practice in fourth place after their team-mates Fabian Hamprecht/Nicki Thiim and Claudia Hürtgen/Dominik Baumann in the BMW Z4 (PIXUM Team Schubert) succeeded in working their way up into second and third place respectively. Team champions from last year Prosperia C Abt Racing brought home all three of their Audi R8 LMS ultras in the Top Ten; Stefan Wackerbauer and Winkelhock were tenth.
Toni Seiler and Jeroen Bleekemolen, who were in P1 for a time during the session in their Corvette Z06.R GT3 (Callaway Competition) took fifth place in practice from the two fastest Porsche 911 GT3 Rs of Robert Renauer and Norbert Siedler (TONINO Team Herberth) and Christian Engelhart/Jaap van Lagen (GW IT Racing Team // Schütz Motorsport). Daniel Dobitsch and Florian Stoll finished eighth in the Audi R8 LMS ultra (kfzteile24 APR Motorsport) ahead of the second BMW Z4 GT3 of Oschersleben-based PIXUM Team Schubert driven by Max Sandritter and Jens Klingsmann.
