- With a nod to history, Toni Seiler intends to show off a very special piece of kit at the next race weekend. In the Spa Classic at Spa-Francorchamps, Seiler will be at the wheel of a Lola T70, powered by a Chevrolet V8 engine, which he has restored in recent years.

- Kévin Estre and Jaap van Lagen secured race victories nos 16 and 17 for Porsche in the ADAC GT Masters at Zandvoort, making Porsche the third most successful brand in the ADAC GT Masters after Lamborghini and Audi.

- After the double victory at Zandvoort, Christian Schütz can look back on a total of six victories for his team, GW IT Racing Team // Schütz Motorsport. The six race wins now make the team one of the five most successful in the ADAC GT Masters.

- MRS GT-Racing team boss Karsten Molitor realised in Zandvoort that his team had never previously driven the McLaren 12C in the wet prior to the race weekend in the Netherlands. "We searched but found no data regarding wet weather running, so that was our first weekend in the wet," said Molitor.

- Kelvin van der Linde is currently shuttling between South Africa and the ADAC GT Masters races in Europe. Flight time: 13 hours. "I can't remain in Europe, because I've got exams at the moment," said the 17-year-old school boy.

- Tomas Enge was not around in Zandvoort - he was on a trip to Thailand that turned out to be highly successful. Enge secured a first win for the Chevrolet Camaro GT in the GT championship there to the delight of Camaro constructor Hans Reiter.

- After a successful weekend at Zandvoort, Jaap van Lagen will line up for the third race weekend at the Lausitzring with a third team-mate. "Christian Engelhart has an outing in the Supercup and Kévin Estre has a race in England," said team boss Christian Schütz. It has not yet been decided who will line up with the current leader in the standings in the Lausitz. He will be making a guest appearance in the Porsche Carrera Cup at Oschersleben this weekend.
