Paddock radar from Oschersleben: World rally champion Sébastien Ogier at ADAC GT Masters

Rally star Ogier in Oschersleben: VIP guests from the rally scene were at the ADAC GT Masters season opener in the etropolis Motorsport Arena Oschersleben on Saturday and Sunday. World Rally Champion and Volkswagen works driver Sébastien Ogier watched both Super Sports Car League races.

Special anniversary for Toni Seiler: It would be hard to imagine the ADAC GT Masters without Toni Seiler. The 56-year-old Swiss driver first lined up for the premiere race in the Super Sports Car League back in 2007 and is the oldest-serving driver in the series. Seiler contested his 100th ADAC GT Masters race this Sunday during the season opener in the etropolis Motorsport Arena. The ADAC GT Masters thanked Seiler for his eight years of loyalty to the series by giving him a racing overall which ADAC Sport President Hermann Tomczyk presented to the Corvette driver before his 100th race start. In 100 races, Seiler has celebrated two overall wins and 22 class victories in the Gentlemen classification that has been contested since 2009. He won the Gentlemen title in 2009 and 2010.

New Official Cars: AUDI presented new vehicles to the race management for the start of the new ADAC GT Masters season at the etropolis Motorsport Arena Oschersleben. They include two Audi RS7s which will see duty as Leading Car and Safety Car. Race management also have two AUDI A4 Avants and one A6 Avant to fall back on. AUDI have been ADAC GT Masters official car partner since 2011.

ADAC Vice President for Technology pays a visit: ADAC Vice President for Technology Thomas Burkhardt was at the ADAC GT Masters season opener in Oschersleben. Burkhardt joined World Rally Champion Sébastien Ogier, ADAC Sport President Hermann Tomczyk and ADAC press officer for cars Jürgen Fabry in presenting the awards.

Sweeping machine races: ADAC GT Masters partner Kärcher came up with something special to mark the start of the ADAC GT Masters season. Kärcher set up a 'racetrack' in the paddock, where fans could compete to secure best time on petrol-driven sweepers.

On Saturday, the drivers of the 26 supercars met before the race with ADAC Sports President Hermann Tomczyk, ADAC press officer Jürgen Fabry and ADAC Director Motor Sports and Classic Divisions Lars Soutschka for a group photo.
