The stewards penalised a number of drivers following the race at the Lausitzring Race 2 at the Lausitzring had a sting in the tail for Fabian Hamprecht, Albert von Thurn und Taxis and Maximilian Buhk.
Following the second of two ADAC GT Masters races at the Lausitzring, the stewards imposed penalties on Fabian Hamprecht (#11 Prosperia C Abt Racing, Audi R8 LMS ultra), Albert von Thurn und Taxis (#24 Reiter Engineering, Chevrolet Camaro GT) and Maximilian Buhk (#26 HTP Motorsport, Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3).
Hamprecht was fined 1,000 euros for dangerous driving in an incident with Mario Farnbacher (#5 Farnbacher Racing, Porsche 911 GT3 R); furthermore, he has received a five-place grid penalty for the next race in which he is the qualifying driver.
Maximilian Buhk has also received a five-place grid penalty for the next race in which he is the qualifying driver, having been judged to be responsible for the collision with Toni Seiler (#18 Callaway Competition, Corvette Z06.R GT3) on the final lap of today's race.
Albert von Thurn und Taxis was found to have caused an avoidable collision with Luca Ludwig (#21 BKK MOBIL OIL Zakspeed, Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3) and has been handed a 30-second penalty, which demotes him from eighth to 14th.
The stewards also cautioned Jan Seyffarth (#23 ROWE RACING, Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3) for his part in an incident with Maximilian Buhk on the final lap.
The drivers and teams are permitted to appeal against these penalties.
