Porsche quickest in second test session: Farnbacher pair Asch/Frommenwiler post fastest time in second session

2012 ADAC GT Masters champion Sebastian Asch and Philipp Frommenwiler headed the timesheet in the Porsche 911 GT3 R (Farnbacher Racing) at the second official ADAC GT Masters pre-season test session in the etropolis Motorsport Arena Oschersleben. The Porsche secured a 1:28.020, finishing a whisker in front of the two BMW Z4 GT3s (Pixum Team Schubert) of Claudia Hürtgen/Dominik Baumann and Max Sandritter/Jens Klingmann.

Asch/Frommenwiler set the fastest lap time of the day so far. Their 911 GT3 R was 0.7 seconds faster than ADAC GT Masters title holder Daniel Keilwitz (Callaway) had been in the morning's first session. Keilwitz and team-mates Oliver Gavin and Andreas Wirth took fifth fastest time behind the Audi R8 LMS ultra of Rahel Frey and Philip Geipel (YACO Racing).

The second test session ended ahead of schedule after an accident involving Jan Seyffarth in the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 (ROWE Racing). In any case, the Mercedes team had to finish their test session early because of the accident. "I'm OK. I don't know what happened. We must now take a moment to quietly analyse what went wrong," said Seyffarth.
