Robert Lukas joins Farnbacher Racing: Polish driver to replace Mario Farnbacher in final two races of season

Farnbacher are calling on the services of Robert Lukas for the two final ADAC GT Masters races at the Sachsenring and in Hockenheim. The Pole joins Nathan Morcom as replacement for Mario Farnbacher, who has commitments in the USA.

While the ADAC GT Masters is not completely unfamiliar to Lukas, the 26-year-old's last outing was some time ago during the 2010 season opener in Oschersleben at the wheel of a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup. He will now line up for the first time in a Porsche 911 GT3 R at the Sachsenring. The 26-year-old is particularly pleased about this first drive with Farnbacher Racing: "The ADAC GT Masters is a great series and I'm pleased to be a part of it." When the Farnbacher newbie is not chasing vital seconds, he can be found pursuing a very different quarry: "When I need a break, I like to go fishing, I love fishing."

Australian driver Morcom will partner Lukas, who said with regard to the team's latest composition: "It's always good to meet a new team-mate. I hope that we can both learn from each other and have a bit of fun along the way."

"I can't wait to see the lights go green," added Lukas, eagerly anticipating this weekend's race at the Sachsenring.
