TONINO Team Herberth to field Norbert Siedler: All three cockpits in the Porsches prepared by TONINO Team Herberth now occupied

With just a few days to go before the start of the ADAC GT Masters season, TONINO Team Herberth have finalised their squad for the Dream Sports Car League. In addition to two vehicles that will contest the Gentlemen rating, the Bavarian team will field a third Porsche 911 GT3 R in the battle for the championship. Runner-up Robert Renauer and 31-year-old Porsche specialist Norbert Siedler will take turns at the wheel of the 500-horsepower sports car.

The Tyrolean is no stranger to the ADAC GT Masters. In his only guest start so far during the 2011 season, he clinched a win right away in the Porsche 911 GT3 R at the Red Bull Ring. He now aims to post record results again with Robert Renauer: "I´m very pleased that we´ve been able to join forces just before the season opens. The team already proved they are a force to be reckoned with last year. Of course, we intend to be in contention for the championship together," said Siedler, who was runner-up in the 2011 Porsche Supercup.

Robert Renauer is equally confident: "We missed the championship last year by a whisker and therefore still have a score to settle. I´m sure that we´re strong enough to be among the front-runners." Team manager Alexander Wine Hart added: "We have put together an ideal driver pairing with Robert and Norbert. The entire team is very optimistic and we are all looking forward to the start of the season."

Alfred Renauer and Austrian Herbert Handlos plus Florian Scholze and Dominic Jöst will share a Porsche 911 GT3 R each in the Gentlemen category. "So we are in an excellent position," concluded Alexander Weinhart. "With our three vehicles, we will fight for the championship and also for victory in the Gentlemen class."
