Varied ADAC GT Masters programme : The ADAC GT Masters will again have an attractive support programme in 2014

The ADAC GT Masters will have an exciting and varied programme for the 2014 season. An open-wheel racing junior series, plus touring car series, various one-make cups and a series for historic racing cars will all race under the Super Sports Car League banner. Three new racing series - the Renault Clio Cup Central Europe, the EUROV8SERIES and the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany - will join the ADAC GT Masters programme to provide plenty of action when events in the Super Sports Car League itself are not taking place.

Formel ADAC, the high-speed school of motorsport will be a permanent fixture at all ADAC GT Masters events. In Formel ADAC, driving identical Formel ADAC racing cars powered by Volkswagen, the young aspiring drivers can follow in the footsteps of Timo Glock, Nico Rosberg, Ralf Schumacher, Nico Hülkenberg, Adrian Sutil and Formula 1 world champion Sebastian Vettel, who all made their way to Formula 1 via the ADAC junior series.

Another single-seater junior series, the ATS Formula 3 Cup, will run its races at all events with the exception of the foreign leg in Zandvoort. For years, the ATS Formula 3 Cup has been regarded as a professional training ground for Formula 3 racing.

The DTC of DMSB - ADAC Procar with new technology, stronger fields and more variety in the 2014 season. In the new top class, the 1T Division, 1.6-litre touring cars running turbo engines will compete for the win for the first time. The iconic MINI Coopers from the previous MINI TROPHY series have found a new home in the newly introduced Division 3. The DTC of DMSB - ADAC Procar will run six events in the support programme.

The Renault Clio Cup Central Europe which follows the tradition of other successful Renault one-make cups, is new to the Super Sports Car League's support programme. The new Renault Clio RS IV with a 1.6-litre turbo engine and 220bhp will make its first appearance this year in the Renault Clio Cup. The Renault Clio Cup Central Europe will be run at the season opener in the etropolis Motorsport Arena, at the Slovakia Ring and at the Hockenheim finale.

The EUROV8SERIES that has emerged from the former Italian Superstars series is also new to the ADAC GT Masters programme. Production-based touring cars with large-volume V8 engines, including the Audi RS5, BMW M3 and Mercedes-Benz C63, will contest the EUROV8SERIES. The EUROV8SSERIES will guest in the two final ADAC GT Masters events at the Sachsenring and at the Hockenheimring.

A large helping of nostalgia will be served up in the ADAC HAIGO Historic Cup for touring cars and open-wheel racing cars. At the season opener in the etropolis Motorsport Arena Oschersleben and at the Lausitzring, the ADAC HAIGO Historic Cup will take spectators back to the time of motor racing in the former DDR.

There will be another GT series apart from the ADAC GT Masters at the Sachsenring race weekend, as Germany's most popular one-make trophy, the Porsche Carrera Cup, will be contested for the first time within the context of the Super Sports Car League. The new Porsche 911 GT3 Cup GT racer, based on the 991 series will see duty for the first time this year in the Porsche Carrera Cup.

Races in the Special Touring Car Trophy (Nürburgring), in the Graf Berghe von Trips Cup (Nürburgring), the Volkswagen Castrol Cup (Lausitzring) and in the Radical Sportscars series (Slovakia Ring) complete the very diverse ADAC GT Masters support programme in 2014.
