ADAC GT Masters - Comments after qualifying: Reactions from the paddock after qualifying at the Lausitzring

Martin Ragginger (#36 GW IT Racing Team Schütz Motorsport, Porsche 911 GT3 R), Pole Position, Race 1: "I've raced four times here at the ADAC GT Masters and achieved three poles - that's a bottom line to be proud of. The team has done an outstanding job, and Klaus and I have worked hard together. It's not easy with the Porsche. We've got to make sure that we do everything right, so that we can compete up front. The Lausitzring suits the Porsche, and I normally do well here. We're confident about the race and have had good long runs. It will be exciting to see how we do up front."

Klaus Bachler (#36 GW IT Racing Team Schütz Motorsport, Porsche 911 GT3 R), grid position 4, Race 2: "Superb performance by Martin. Pole is great. I'm fourth on the grid, but I'm not quite satisfied with my own performance. I made a small mistake on the third sector on my fastest lap. My position on the grid is not bad, but I think a second pole might even have been possible, if we'd got our act together. Temperatures in the race are an unknown factor, which will make things very exciting."

Sebastian Asch (#21 Team Zakspeed, Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3), grid position 2, Race 1: "Obviously, I'm very pleased with second on the grid, and Luca posted a great lap, securing pole. This Saturday, we've still got 30 kg success ballast in the car after our win in Spa, so we have to score, and then on Sunday, we'll certainly be in with a good chance. We didn't think that we'd finish up on the front row twice, especially here."

Luca Ludwig (#21 Team Zakspeed, Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3), Pole Position, Race 2: "I posted one of my best laps in qualifying. Everything was right - car, traffic, tyres, warm-up, and then I quickly found a good rhythm. I was able to use the tyres perfectly. You don't always manage to post a lap like that. Sometimes it's good, but it was especially good today. The car was perfect, and I got down to work."

Nicki Thiim (#2 C Abt Racing, Audi R8 LMS ultra), grid position 2, Race 2: "Pole would have been possible. I perhaps didn't push hard enough for me. I'm the fastest Audi driver, which is of paramount importance to me. I did the best I could. We're getting closer to taking the lead. I'm looking forward to the race."

Jeroen Bleekemolen (#7 Bentley Team HTP, Bentley Continental GT3), grid position 8, Race 2: "We've not had it easy since the season opener at Oschersleben. While we're always very quick and do well in the race, we still have problems in qualifying. It wasn't easy, and starting from grid position eight will make it a tough race as well."

Hari Proczyk (#42 HP Racing, Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3), grid position 6, Race 1: "Qualifying is not my best discipline, so qualifying sixth is almost sensational for me. I'm very satisfied. Congratulations to Luca Ludwig for pole in Race 2. I hope that we can get our gullwing to run as fast as the Zakspeed car."
