Nicki Thiim (#2 C.Abt Racing, Audi R8 LMS ultra), winner: "A fabulous way to end the season! It's the best thing that could have happened to us this weekend. I think we deserved this success. We've had a lot of bad luck this year, but the team has worked hard, and I'm pleased with the victory. At last we've got a win. I gave it everything I'd got today, and after the first lap, I didn't see any of our opponents in the rear-view mirror."
Jordan Lee Pepper (#2 C.Abt Racing, Audi R8 LMS ultra), winner: "I took over the car with a very comfortable lead, and there was no reason to take too many risks. But it was close once again at the restart following the third safety car period. However, I was able to control the lead and still had something left in reserve. It's been a tough season for us, but this is a great way to finish, for sure."
Frank Kechele (#14 Lambda Performance, Ford GT GT3), second: "I'm very happy with this second place; we have exceeded our expectations this weekend. The Audi was very strong at the start - I hadn't expected that. With the difficult conditions on the track, I soon realised that I was a bit out of practice after two years away. But it's great that you can still make a comeback at this level in the series. The Müller family, who are the mainstay behind Lambda, have been through a lot after the death of team founder Harald Müller last year. This is a decent result, and I'd like to dedicate it to him."
Nico Verdonck (#14 Lambda Performance, Ford GT GT3), second: "Our car was really good, but the Audi had a big lead and there was no way we were going to catch up with it. On a drying track, it wasn't easy, but we can feel very satisfied anyway. This result is for Harald Müller, who is unfortunately longer with us, but the family is keeping his memory alive with this race entry at Hockenheim."
Dominik Baumann (#80 BMW Sports Trophy Team Schubert, BMW Z4 GT3), third: "Going into the race, I had maybe a ten percent chance of winning the title. The Mercedes guys have had the better season while we've had more setbacks. We didn't lose the title on the final weekend, but at least we're going home with the team title. So I'm managing to keep my disappointment within limits. As regards today's race, I'm satisfied. Bruno and the car were ace."
Bruno Spengler (#80 BMW Sports Trophy Team Schubert, BMW Z4 GT3), third: "That was a great race; Dominik did really well. Unfortunately, we weren't able to get past the Ford, but I am really happy for the team. Schubert did a great job. It would have been nice to win the title for Dominik, but it was a lot of fun anyway. I've had a great weekend at the ADAC GT Masters."
Sebastian Asch (#21 Team Zakspeed, Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3), winner of 2015 Drivers' Championship: "We would have liked to have wrapped up the title on Saturday, but we just have to put that behind us now. The races and the championship were won by the entire team; they have worked really hard. This is a team sport, and Luca also has also done a great job for the whole of the season; he has always handed the car over to me in a good position. We have consistently scored points, and today we regained our sparkle and kept our cool. To win the title twice in this series is amazing. I'm very proud of that achievement."
Luca Ludwig (#21 Team Zakspeed, Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3), winner of 2015 Drivers' Championship: "It hasn't really sunk in. After yesterday's race, some of us got quite nervous, and the changeable conditions could have thrown everything up in the air once again. But today, we were always in a position where we were going to take the title; there were no really dangerous moments."
Andreas Weishaupt (#3 C.Abt Racing, Audi R8 LMS ultra), 2015 Gentlemen Champion: "What a great race! It was very good except for the excursion into the gravel towards the end. I was very competitive in the rain; I feel OK in wet conditions and usually cope well. Shortly before end of the race, I had a bit of a spin, but now I'm very happy that we have finally made it and have won the Gentlemen classification."
Remo Lips (#13 RWT Racing Team, Corvette Z06.R GT3), second in Gentlemen class: "Sven did well, but unfortunately he got hit and the car was then difficult to drive. The traction control system packed up and one or two things went wrong. Unfortunately, we didn't quite manage to win the title, but at least we finished as runners-up, which is also nice."
